Telephone system upgrade on 10th August 2021

We are upgrading our telephone system on the morning of Tuesday August the 10th.  Every effort has been made to limit disruption for any patient contacting the practice, however there maybe be intermittent issues that arise.  We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

Patient access accounts - if you are having difficulty resetting your Patient Access account please see instructions as to how to resolve the issue:

How to sign up for Patient Access

eConsult - Please note, we are temporarily disabling the eConsult service to address increased demand for more direct contact with the surgery. Please contact the surgery directly during opening hours; to access support out of hours please call 111 or visit

PushDoctor is a video consultation service offered to our patients when they may not be able to attend or get a physical appointment at the surgery. The GP you will see  will not be your usual GP but  will be an NHS trained UK GP who can access your medical records should they need to. They can deal with prescriptions, sick notes, referral letters and treat most conditions that your usual GP can.

To access an appointment you will need to speak to one of our receptionists who will send you an invitation  to attend an appointment  via the PushDoctor "app" which you can download to your smartphone, tablet  or laptop and complete the registration process.

This service is not suitable for everyone  so you will need to speak to the reception team first. On occasion the PushDoctor GP may still wish  you to be seen in a more traditional face to face appointment  so please be prepared to attend the surgery if deemed necessary.

The NHS App

Owned and run by the NHS, the NHS App is the simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet.

The NHS App is available now on iOS and Android, available to download from app store or google play.

What the NHS App does

Use the NHS App to:

  • book appointments - search for, book and cancel appointments at your GP surgery, and see details of your upcoming and past appointments
  • order repeat prescriptions - see your available medicines and request a new repeat prescription
  • check your symptoms - search trusted NHS information and advice on hundreds of conditions and treatments, and get instant advice or medical help near you
  • view your medical record - securely access your GP medical record, to see information like your allergies and your current and past medicines
  • register your organ donation decision - choose to donate some or all of your organs and check your registered decision
  • find out how the NHS uses your data - choose if data from your health records is shared for research and planning

Who can use the NHS App

To use the NHS App you must be aged 13 and over and registered with a GP surgery in England.

Keeping your data secure

After you download the app, you will need to set up an NHS login and prove who you are. The app then securely connects to information from your GP surgery.

If your device supports fingerprint detection or facial recognition, you can use it to log in to the NHS App each time, instead of using a password and security code.

Get help with the app

If you have any issues using or downloading the app, check the NHS App help and support page.

Welcome to Park View Health Partnership

•There is emergency contingency planning in place to ensure that in the event of an outbreak like this, access to medical care and pharmacies will continue.

•If a patient has to self-isolate it will only be for a maximum of 14 days.

•GP surgeries will still be able to issue prescriptions and pharmacies will still be able to supply during this period. Many pharmacies can continue to deliver to patients.

We thank all our patients in advance for considering this before making their requests as this enables us to continue to deliver services effectively during these challenging times to all our patients.

PLEASE NOTE:  DO NOT come to the GP practice reception to request your prescription. Instead we ask that patients sign up to online access via the NHS App so that you can request your prescription online.

• If you have a pre-filled prescription request please post this through the post letter box at the front of the building.

We currently have a telephone triage in place due to Covid19 and patients are advised to attend the practice only if you are asked to do so, please see the NEWS section on this website for further details and helpful information.

We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.

Serving You

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

Partners in Care

Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.

Disabled access to the building is via the front door; there are designated car parking spaces for the disabled.

Practice Closures

The surgery will be closed on the following days from 12:30 pm  to allow doctors and staff training. This is an initiative organised by the local  clinical commissioning group and ensures that our doctors, nurses and staff stay up to date  which in turn ensures safe and effective care for our patients. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Emergency care will be provided by the out of hours provider .

If you require medical advice or assistance please call 111.
