Appointments

appointment_1

The doctors, nurses and midwife operate an appointment system.  To make an appointment, either contact the receptionist by telephone or visit the practice.  You may be asked some questions to judge the urgency of your request.  All information given to staff will be treated as confidential. For routine appointment, please plan ahead and book well in advance to get the time you prefer.  If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will either be asked to wait until the end of the session to be seen, or to book another appointment.  If you no longer require an appointment, please let us know so that someone else can be seen in your place.

You can also register to book appointments online.  You will need to bring photo ID to reception to register for this service called Patient Access. If you need any further information on Patient Access please go to the online services tab and follow the links.

Practice Nurses

Telephone Advice

If you are unable to attend the practice for an appointment but feel you need to speak to a GP for advice the reception team will take a message and someone will get back to you.

Results

Please telephone for the results of tests after 11 am.

Illness Certificates

For the first seven days of illness and inability to work you should complete a self certificate.  After seven days a doctor’s medical certificate may be required.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
